We are an American Radio Relay League affiliated non-profit organization in the Syracuse, New York area. Our mission is;
- To promote fraternity among amateur radio enthusiasts
- To promote the amateur radio hobby by providing licensing classes and testing
- To remain vigilant and prepared to respond to requests for support in times of crisis
We currently maintain three repeaters in the Syracuse area which allow us to practice our craft, and support public service events. Our monthly meetings are filled with stimulating discussion, presentations, and information about various aspects of the hobby. Also, if your organization is holding an event that requires communications over some distance (parades, races, festivals, etc.) we would be happy to assist. Please contact Walt Bordett N2IK for more information on how to set the wheels in motion. We appreciate as much notice as possible to give volunteers ample time to prepare for the event.
